Our client requires medical equipment contained in a small rucksack when out and about in her wheelchair - but there was no suitable fixing point at the correct height. This simple aluminium rail was added, with a selection of carabiner clips suspended with adjustable Velcro cable ties, so parent/carer shopping bags can also be clipped on. A shelf made out of timber and MDF was then added to the frame of the wheelchair lower down to take the weight of the equipment.

A simple aluminium clamping strip with ends dipped in rubberised paint, coupled with non-slip pads beneath the shelf, hold it in place.
