Our client is a small child who likes to ride his bicycle but as he is partly deaf there is some concern about safety as he may fail to respond to spoken commands. He also has some weakness which means that an occasional push is required to keep him going. A cycling balance aid was obtained but could not not be used as designed because of the tiny size of the bike. A triangular bracket was designed and fitted so that he could pedal without fouling the handle and the parents could control the bike without having to stoop..
