BED CONTROL

Our client had an electrically adjustable bed, but the infra-red remote control for it was missing, and there was no manual overide, which rendered the electrical adjustment useless.  The German manufacturer was unable to supply a replacement remote.

We made this manual switch unit to replace the infra-red receiver/control unit. This utilised large locking "centre-off" switches which the client could operate easily (probably much easier than the original remote control would have been).

A stick-on photoluminescent panel makes the unit visible in the night. The two switches raise or lower the two motors at the head and foot of the bed (the motor unit itself has an internal cut-off mechanism if the switches are inadvertently left on).
